Why Meteora is worth your time
Meteora, UNESCO karma alanıdır (1988'de listelenmiştir) — Peneios vadisinden 400 m'den daha yüksekte kumtaşı sütunları olup, halen kendi biletlerini düzenleyen altı çalışan manastır bulunmaktadır. Tek kapısı olan bir müze değil. Kalambaka veya Kastraki'de kalın ve kayaları otobüsten iki saatlik bir durak olarak değil, tekrarladığınız bir tur olarak değerlendirin.
60 km'lik mesafe içerisinde havaalanı bulunmamaktadır. Varış KTEL Trikalon otobüsüyle (Atina–Kalampaka 32,50 €; Selanik–Kalampaka 22,60 €) veya Hellenic Train ile Kalambaka istasyonuna yapılır; işler tarifeleri değiştirdiği için hellenictrain.gr'yi kontrol edin. Yerel manastır otobüsü 2,00 Euro'dur (ktel-trikala.gr, Ağustos 2026'da kontrol edildi).
Two nights is the minimum if you want more than a photo stop. Three days lets you walk one gorge path, sit out a weekly closing day, and add Theopetra Cave (closed Tuesday; odysseus.culture.gr). Dress code is enforced at every gate.

Opposite Great Meteoron. Summer 09:00–16:00, closed Friday (Infotourist Meteora). Combine on the same bus stop.
Aziz Stephen
Bridge access and a lift. Closed Monday. Split hours with a midday break (Infotourist Meteora). Best first stop with kids or limited mobility.

Yes — a UNESCO mixed site (1988) with six working monasteries on sandstone pillars above Kalambaka. It is not a single ticketed park. Two nights beats a rushed day trip from Athens. Start with Gör & Yap ve Rotalar.
